The show completed 8 years today and Ekta Kapoor shared a video along with a heartfelt post to celebrate the occasion. The 2011 show earned a lot of fame and ran for a span of three successful years on TV.
Bade Acche Lagte Hain is a mature love story which revolves around Ram Kapoor, a well-reputed, rich, and powerful businessman in his early 40s and Priya Sharma, played by Sakshi Tanwar, who is in her late 30s and belongs to a middle-class family. The characters don’t like each other much but due to unavoidable circumstances and for their family’s well-being, they get married. Along their journey, Ram and Priya fall in love, making you root for them in every episode.

According to this video, Ekta had registered the name ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ about 6 years before the soap opera premiered. The show was also dubbed in 3 languages including English and topped the charts for 3 years.
