Veere Di Wedding: Divyanka Tripathi defends Ekta Kapoor when a troll asks to boycott the film
The trailer for Veere Di Wedding was out today. It stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. A troll told Ekta Kapoor to boycott the film and Divyanka Tripathi gave a fitting reply to the troll.
The trailer of Veere Di Wedding starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania was released today. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta Kapoor shared the posters and trailer on her Instagram page today. One of the trolls commented, "Boycott the movie".
Divyanka Tripathi came to Ekta's rescue and bashed the person by replying, "Rather boycott you?".
A lot of people have been posting on social media about blocking the film after the actors from Veere took a stand to punish the Kathua rapists.

Meanwhile, talking about Veere Di Wedding, it shows Kareena returning as the sexy diva and looking pretty as ever. It is almost difficult to turn your face away from Bebo who is looking ravishing in each and every frame she is in and completely owning it. Sonam too fits the bill perfectly. The trailer takes us through the friendship of the four girls in their late 20s who are trying to figure out their lives just like many of us. However, things changes when one of the friends gets a proposal and her marriage is fixed. The film then focuses on the struggle a woman faces while adjusting to the new lifestyle leaving aside her carefree life.
We quite liked the costumes used in the trailer, however, there is nothing more to it. The treatment of the film is, however, more from the female point of view and that is a refreshing change. Veere Di Wedding releases on June 1, 2018.
