Ishqbaaaz fans have been left upset ever since producer Gul Khan confirmed that a generation leap is being planned starting from December. Other sources confirmed to Pinkvilla that post leap, there are high chances of Surbhi Chandna, who plays the role of Annika, not being a part of the show. On the other hand, Nakuul Mehta, who plays the role of Shivaay Singh Oberoi, will be retained to play Shivika's son, according to our sources.

Ever since we broke the news, fans of the show started the hashtag #NoSurbhiNoIshqbaaaz which trended at the first position in several parts of India including Mumbai. Surbhi last night tweeted, "CALMing Breeze your way." We wonder if this is over the outrage on social media. While the news regarding Surbhi is yet to be confirmed by either of the parties, fans have been sending emails and letters to the channel and the production house to warm them against the move.

If they fxking continue the show without my baby imma sue them#NoSurbhiNoIshabaaaz

What is fresh story
Dear Gul your stories are pathetic
There will be only fresh face
Story will remain disconnected and pathetic
just a reminder #NoSurbhiNoIshabaaaz

We have to stop generation leap
also.#NoSurbhiNoIshabaaaz

Ishqbaaaz recently completed over 650 episodes and Shivika is considered one of the biggest highlights for the show. Surbhi recently won the Stylish Sadasya Award for playing Annika at the Star Parivaar Awards and together Nakuul and Surbhi won not one but two Best Jodi awards. Nakuul and Surbhi have always been all praises for each other and the fans cannot imagine even one of them not being there on the show.
