Television Queen Ekta Kapoor today in a pleasant yet shocking announcement revealed having embraced parenthood. The TV czarina turned mother to a baby boy via surrogacy whom she has named Ravie. The successful producer welcomed the boy on January 27, 2018 and according to a Mumbai Mirror report he is healthy and will be coming home soon. Earlier, Ekta’s brother and actor Tusshar Kapoor welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy whom they named Laksshya Kapoor. Ekta confirmed the good news on Twitter with a post revealing the name of the baby boy.
She released a statement, "By God’s grace, I have seen so many successes in my life but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother to my little bundle of joy, Ravie Kapoor- Ekta Kapoor". Ever since the news hit the web, Ekta has been flooded with good wishes pouring in from all corners.
We definitely cannot wait to catch the first glimpse of the baby. Ekta, like her close friend Karan Johar, is unmarried but that doesn’t stop the TV producer from embracing motherhood.. The 43-year-old is a successful TV producer with serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii in her repertoire. Not just TV, Ekta has now also started producing movies with the latest being the hit film, Veere Di Wedding, which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
