Sushma Swaraj Passes Away: Divyanka Tripathi, Karanvir Bohra & other TV celebs mourn the BJP leader's death

Sushma Swaraj, former foreign minister, and senior BJP leader passed away on Tuesday evening after a cardiac arrest. As per reports, she will be cremated with state honours in Delhi today afternoon. For the unversed, the politician had been unwell and that's why she opted out of elections this year. Many politicians, socialities, Bollywood and TV celebs took to their social media to share their condolences. 

TV celebs such as Divyanka Tripathi, Nikita Dutta, Disha Parmar, Kritika Kamra and Karanvir Bohra among others took to their social media accounts to mourn the death of the BJP leader. Divyanka tweeted, "On one hand - victory, on the other - such a tremendous loss! Two extreme news in a day. India will miss a true leader like you @SushmaSwaraj ji! May you be in peace."

Karanvir tweeted, "Shocked to hear that @SushmaSwaraj ji passed away. A woman who worked hard for the betterment of r country,she never made any Indian feel alienated when in trouble in a foreign land.(Like in Russia, if it wasn't for Sushmaji I wud have been impounded) #RIPSushmaJi #Jaihind" Check out the tweets right below.

Speaking of Sushma Swaraj, she was a Supreme Court lawyer and was one of the top ministers in PM Modi's cabinet. After her kidney transplant, she had reduced her public engagements. Her last tweet was about the revocation of Article 370. She had tweeted, "Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime." She received huge praises for quickly responding to SOS messages from Indians across the world.
