Surbhi Chandna's throwback picture from Ishqbaaz's look test will amaze you
Ishqbaaz's Surbhi Chandna was asked to put on weight.
Surbhi Chanda who is popularly known as Anika from Star Plus's Ishqbaaz has gained a lot of fame and has a humongous fan following. Her unique style of acting and her antic character of Anika has won her a lot of compliments and love from fans and viewers all over.
Recently one of the founders of Ishqbaaz's production house took to Instagram to share an old picture of Surbhi Chandra from one of the initial look tests for Ishqbaaz.
He uploaded the picture and captioned it "Will you kill me for posting this @officialsurbhic? This was taken during one of the initial look tests for Ishqbaaaz."
Surbhi replied to his post and wrote, "Never ever.. just can't thank you enough since this brings back memories of the beginning of this beautiful journey.. jaw line laajawaab hai meri.. uske baad toh GUL MUMMA asked me to put on weight and I converted to a hippo."
Her reply makes us wonder why would producer Gul Khan ask her to put on weight!? Nevertheless if skinny or plump, the audience will still continue to love this gorgeous actress and continue to follow her.
Initially, when the show had just begun Surbhi had received a lot of negative feedback and hate and in an exclusive interview, Surbhi told us all about it.
She said, "Initially, many people had an image of me that I am not a heroine material, I don't even look like an Indian TV heroine type. Honestly I have a very conventional look, not like a typical daily soap heroine look and initially, I had also put on some weight for the show, so in front of Nakuul [Mehta], I used to always look fat, plump. So, many people wrote me off, initially saying that I won't work."
She further added "Today when I see those comments change into appreciation, with the kind of acting or looks, or every outfit that I carry, it feels like I have achieved something. Of course, there is a lot to achieve but I have achieved little. I feel great about it."
