Ishqbaaaz fame Surbhi Chandna aka Annika has finally confirmed her exit from the show amidst series of speculations. Surbhi took to Twitter late last night to make the announcement and promised to return with a bang soon. While her exit will surely leave a void given the immense popularity and her chemistry with Nakuul Mehta on screen, fans haven't been able to come to terms with this unfortunate development and started demanding an end to the show completely with Nakuul and Surbhi.
They reiterated that they cannot see anyone else cast opposite Nakuul in the same show. It was reported that Surbhi wasn't comfortable playing a mother onscreen and hence a generation leap was planned after which only Nakuul from the original cast was retained. Nakuul will be seen playing Shivika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi and will be seen romancing a new female lead which might most probably be a fresh face. Well, we wonder how that would go but until then, the fans haven't given up.
They have been trying to reach the production team, Star Plus and every other medium to make sure Surbhi is retained but that seems highly unlikely. Fans have been blaming Gul Khan, the producer for the same and have been targeting her; however, she has remained mum over the same. Surbhi in her video has mentioned that she will miss the show, the cast and the masti, all of it and thanked fans for their unconditional support.
