Sri Lanka Blasts: Surbhi Chandna expresses shock & disbelief, says was planning to visit the country soon

Ishqbaaz fame and television personality Surbhi Chandna took to Twitter on Sunday to express grief in the wake of the multiple blasts that took place in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. Horrific serial blasts ripped three churches and three hotels in Sri Lanka killing over 150 people and leaving more than 300 injured on Sunday morning. According to reports, the blasts occurred during the Easter Sunday mand in tourist hotels. According to police, the dead include 35 foreigners. It is not yet known if any Indian was hurt or killed in the attack. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said she was in constant touch with Indian High Commissioner in Colombo.
Surbhi Chandna was shocked and in utter disbelief with the 'amount of hate that goes in to destroy people & peace'. She also revealed that she was planning to take a trip to the beautiful country during the long weekend. Surbhi wrote, "Cannot believe i was planning to take a short to the beautiful Srilanka for the long weekend. Cannot begin to imagine the amount of hate that goes in to destroy people & peace. Sad and Tragic #PrayersForSriLanka."
Netizens expressed shock and disbelief on social media on Sunday morning. Bollywood stars, too, took to Twitter to condemn the horrific attacks on Easter Sunday. The blasts took place around 8:45 am local time and there were no immediate claims of responsibility. Given the scale of the attacks, the casualty numbers are only set to rise further.
