Sonali Bendre recently took to her social media handle to announce her battle with cancer. Television actors from Hina Khan, Karan Wah to Karanvir Bohra and Rashmi Desai, reacted to this shocking news.
Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, who last appeared on the big screen with Akshay Kumar in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, made a shocking announcement on Wednesday. In an official statement, the actress confirmed that she is suffering from high-grade cancer and is currently in New York for her treatment.
Sonali has been one of the few actresses to have blurred the line between big screen and the small screen as she turned judge for Indian Idol and then many other reality shows. She was last seen in India's Most Dramebaaaz wherein she was later replaced by Huma Qureshi.

In her official statement, Sonali said, "I’m taking this battle head on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me."
On the personal front, Sonali is married to filmmaker Goldie Behl. They both got married in the year 2002 and have a son named Ranveer, born in 2005.
On the work front, the actor has worked with almost everyone and her chemistry with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were considered one of the best. Sonali is also known to be an avid reader.
