Smriti Irani wins the Amethi Constituency; Mihir Virani aka Ronit Roy shares a post to congratulate her

The results of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 were out yesterday. Smriti Irani won with the majority of votes in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi region. Yesterday, the BJP leader took to her Twitter page to share her happiness over her victory. Smriti Irani tweeted, "कौन कहता है आसमां में सुराख नहीं हो सकता ...". Even today, she thanked people for voting her and wrote, "एक नयी सुबह अमेठी के लिए , एक नया संकल्प। धन्यवाद अमेठी शत शत नमन । आपने विकास पर विश्वास जताया, कमल का फूल खिलाया। अमेठी का आभार #PhirEkBaarModiSarkaar #VijayiBharat."
Smriti Irani's former co-star and actor Ronit Roy shared a post for her on his Instagram page to congratulate her. The actor shared her picture and captioned it, "EK MUMBER!!! Amethi mainJeet ki koti koti badhai @smritiiraniofficial Aajevan vijayi bhava". Smriti and Ronit have worked together in Ekta Kapoor's 2000s popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. They played the role of Mihir and Tulsi in this popular daily soap.
Yesterday, when the votes were being counted, Ekta Kapoor and her son Ravie were rooting for Smriti Irani's win. Ekta and her son were glued to their TV screen watching the results and she shared the pic on her Instagram page. Ekta wrote, "All eyes on #amethi we r rooting for our aunt." Irani replied to it by posting a kiss and folded hands emoji.
