Smriti Irani REACTS to Ekta Kapoor calling her wine

Smriti Irani played one of the most memorable characters on the Indian Television. She played the lead role of Tulsi on Ekta Kapoor's show Kyunkii...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Tulsi was loved by all and had become a part of every household.

Recently, the former television actress and Textile Minister, Smriti Irani took to her Instagram to share a throwback picture from the Kyunkii...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi days. In the picture, she is seen posing with Ekta Kapoor.

Ekta Kapoor instantly commented, "Oh maaaaa god!!!!!! I'm sharingggggggggg" and reshared the same picture on her Instagram handle. Her caption read: "Some people are like wine, they get better with age!!! Not that we are old. Love this woman for her resilience charm wit and strength."

Now Smriti Irani, who is known for her wit, was quick enough to comment on the post. She wrote, "Hey Bhagwan, I'm a politician can't be wine; find another beverage."

Smriti also replied to a fan who had commented on her post, saying that it's blurred. She wrote, "That's what the past looks like ... a blur."

This fun side of the minister and her sweet banter with Ekta Kapoor won everyone's heart on the internet.

Kyunkii...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ran successfully for eight long years, starting from the year 2000. Smriti Irani bagged numerous awards for her character Tulsi, and the show was always seen at the top spot on the TRP charts.
