Snigdha Akolkar who is best known for her roles in TV serials such as Karmphal Data Shani and Siya Ke Ram among others have tied the knot with Sreeram Ramanathan, a businessman, in a private ceremony. In an interview with Tellychakkar, Snigdha revealed that the wedding took place on 25th August in Pune and the same was private affair and only her close pals and relatives were in attendance.
The couple got married as per Tamil rituals. And now, pictures from her wedding are now doing rounds on the internet. For the d-day, the actress was seen wearing red Kanjivaram saree, golden temple jewellery and gajra. Check out the photos right here. When asked about her honeymoon plans, she said, "Well, since we both are busy with work, we plan to go for two honeymoon vacations. At the moment, we will go on a short trip, and later for a prolonged holiday."
Speaking of Snigdha Akolkar, she marked her debut in the year 2005 as Shyamlee in Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan. She later featured in Siya Ke Ram, Vikram Bhatt's web series Zakhmi, and a movie called Love U...Mr. Kalakaar. Now, she will be seen in Baahubali: Before the Beginning series.
Earlier, in an interview, she spoke in length about marriage and dating someone from her field, Snigdha had said that she vowed not to marry someone from the same industry. However, her family would often question her about it, as they felt that marrying someone from the same profession will lead to a better understanding between her and her spouse. She added," Over the years, I have realised that most of the time, I am surrounded by people who are from the industry. So now, I too don't mind dating and marrying someone from my industry."
