Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka: Nandini decides to LEAVE Kunal for Mauli's sake

Life has brought Kunal (Shakti Arora), Mauli (Aditi Sharma) and Nandini (Drashti Dhami) at a weird crossroad in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. While on one hand, Kunal wants to leave Mauli and start a new life with Nandini, he finally learns about Mauli’s pregnancy, which obviously comes across as a shocking revelation to him. And it is none other than Rajdeep (Abhinav Shukla) who informs him about Mauli being pregnant with Kunal’s baby. And if that’s not enough, Mauli and Nandini have another confrontation.

Nandini asks Mauli to meet her at the temple, which is where Mauli tells her about the baby, and then also asks her if she can now leave Kunal and simply give the engagement ring he gave her back to him. Further, she puts a choice before her to make which is to choose between her child, who is still unborn or her relation with Kunal. However, Nandini is trying to understand the situation, and hence does not immediately react and this hurts Mauli. She then goes on to tell her how she is anything but self-centered and can’t make someone else happy because she cares too much about herself.

This is the Mauli I absolutely love and adore. She’s not like the typical wife’s we see on ITV who just suffer and tolerate everything bad that happens to them. Instead, Mauli gives it back to them like a strong, independent woman no matter how much she’s broken in the inside How can one be so good that every scene comes out even more better than the previous scene. Taunting her further, and calling out both Kunal and Nandini, Mauli asks her to make a choice if she at all cares for her or ever has. When with Kunal asks Nandini as to why is she so upset, she tells him about Mauli’s pregnancy, and Kunal then assumes that this is nothing but another lie, just like that of Dida’s heart-attack.

In fact, Kunal then decides to go home and question Mauli and his family members if this is just another of their plan to take Nandini away from him. After having said what he wanted to, he leaves the house, and this attitude of Kunal angers his mother. She then walks up to Nandini to reprimand her and put her down for what she is doing and how she is responsible for Mauli’s unhappiness.

Kunal’s mother narrates the turn of events that happened at home and tells her how Kunal does not believe Mauli and that she is the reason behind it. She rebukes Nandini for this behaviour and tells her that she should let go of Kunal, if for nothing, at least for the child in Mauli’s womb. And Nandini, who has been completely distressed over the recent events, promises Radhika that she will leave them alone forever.
