Shubhangi Atre says after Chidiya Ghar she didn't want to replace Shilpa Shinde again in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain
Shubhangi Atre is winning hearts as Angoori Bhabi in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai. She replaced Shilpa Shinde on the show in 2017. This was the second time Shubhangi had replaced Shilpa after Chidiya Ghar.
Shilpa Shinde earlier played the role of Angoori Bhabi on the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! However, a few years ago, she was replaced by Shubhangi Atre as Angoori Bhabi. As the show is one of the most popular TV shows, it was a kind of risk to replace the main lead. However, within a few weeks, Shubhangi won the viewers' hearts and the audience accepted her.
This was the second time Shubhangi replaced Shilpa. Earlier, Atre replaced her in the show Chidiya Ghar. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shubhangi Atre said that it was just a coincidence and she didn't want to replace Shilpa for the second time. The reason she said yes for Bhabiji was that her daughter Ashi made her rethink about the opportunity that was offered to her.
Shubhangi Atre added, "I wasn’t scared to play the part, but had inhibitions that if something goes wrong then the character’s impact might get affected."
The actress spoke about the longevity in the TV industry. Shubhangi said that confidence and sincerity helps a person to sustain.
