Colors' popular show Ek Shringar Swabhimaan will reportedly go off air.
It is a season of shows' going off-air on Television, at least it seems like.
After Sony TV's Pehredaar Piya Ki was pulled off overnight, it is Rajshri Productions' popular daily soap Ek Shringar Swabhimaan which will be going off air.
According to a report on an entertainment portal, the decision to pull the show, Ek Shringar Swabhimaan, was taken overnight despite it performing well at the BARC ratings.
Well, we wonder what led to this sudden decision. However, the news is sure to upset the show's loyal fans.
The show's last episode will air this Friday (29th September) and the team is currently working on the Happy Ending track for the soap. The cast is expected to wrap up the shoot by coming Thursday.
Actor Sangeita told the portal, "It's really unfair and unfortunate and we all are shattered with the news. It's not official yet and if at all its going to be true then I am going to miss the whole team. We all are like a family. Let's see where will the destiny take all of us."
On the other hand, Ankitta Sharma added, "The off air news has come across very shocking to us. The entire cast is in tears. It is little weird that show is shutting as it is doing well and is being liked by masses."
