Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar to have their nikah today in the same house where his parents got married
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are the new TV couple who are all set to take the plunge today. The couple is currently in Maudaha, a town 4 hours away from Lucknow where all the pre-wedding festivities took place.
After dating for over five years, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are all set to get married today in Shoaib's hometown Maudaha, which is around 4 hours from Lucknow.
The couple who fell in love on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka will be having a Nikah today at around 2-3 PM. The two will then proceed to host a grand reception for industry friends on February 26, 2018.
However, a source close to the couple informed a leading daily that Dipika and Shoaib wanted a lavish wedding later this year but their families wanted to advance the wedding.
“Dipika and Shoaib were originally planning a lavish wedding sometime later this year in Jaipur. However, their families wanted to advance the plan and a date was finalised upon just 20 days ago. The families also decided to solemnise the nikah in the same house where Shoaib’s parents got married decades ago. Shoaib is returning to his hometown after almost 10 years and his relatives are excited to have him and Dipika with them," the source said.
This is Dipika’s second marriage after she got divorced from her former husband in January 2015, after three years of marriage.
Meanwhile, the pre-wedding festivities of Shoaika have been as filmy as it could get. At their sangeet ceremony, the couple danced to the popular Salman Khan song, Chal Pyaar Karegi. The video has been going viral and we also came across a video of Dipika mouthing Sajan Ji Ghar Aayein from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as the duo dance together.
Not just that, the duo indulged in some Bollywood dance as well with London Thumkada ruling the chart.
