Shantanu Maheshwari's dance troupe enters Asian Battleground finals
Shantanu Maheshwari dance troupe to show their magic at international level.
Shantanu Maheshwari's Desi Hoppers has gone International after their world of dance championship win in 2015. They had even performed on Hollywood reality show America's Got Talent last year, have one more accomplishment to now rejoice about!
They are the only dance crew to represent India at Asia's most famous dance reality show Asian Battleground in its 4th season earlier this year. Now, Shantanu's Desi Hoppers have been selected for the finals. The finals will be taking place in Malaysia next week!
The dance group will be competing against some very famous dance crews from China and Japan whilst representing India. They will be presenting their finale dance act in front of some very popular and well know Hollywood dancers. One of the judges who will judge the finals will be Phillip Chebb. He is from the popular Hollywood dance movie series Step Up. He has also been a contestant on American dance reality show, So you think you can dance!
Speaking on the same Shantanu said," We are in absolute preparation mode at the moment, for the finals next week! Our crew is very excited and proud to be representing the country once again, on such a big dance platform! The cherry on the cake, of course, being us performing in front of such big names from Hollywood, as well as other world-famous dancers such as Hilty & Bosche and Keone and Mari! Though we are eagerly waiting to showcase our finale act, and quite excited to be performing in front of Phillip Chebb! We have till date just watched him perform live once in India, & dancing on the big screen, but to actually be performing in front of him now, is quite overwhelming for all of us! We hope to give it our all and 100%!".
