Shaheer Sheikh's Dastaan E Mohabbat to air in Indonesia; calls his character as one of his favourite roles

Shaheer Sheikh will soon be seen in the show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke wherein he is paired alongside Rhea Sharma, who plays Naira aka Shivangi Joshi's sister Mishty. The show is a spin-off to the hit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which stars Shivangi and Mohsin Khan in the lead roles. Shaheer, who was last seen in the show Dastaan-E-Mohabbat wherein he played the historical character Salim, shared the news that the show will be aired in Indonesia and was visibly very happy about it.
He wrote as, "Salim Anarkali segera di @antv_official one of my fav characters I have ever played. I hope the Indonesian audience likes it. Shaheer always maintained that he wanted to do the role of Salim sometime on the screen, and he did it, convincingly so.
Meanwhile, about Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Shaheer will apparently be seen in a never before seen avatar. His look will reportedly be inspired from Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Joining him on the show is Ritvik Arora who plays his younger brother. A newbie actress has been cast opposite him on the show.
