Shaheer Sheikh meets Ekta Kapoor; is Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 finally on cards?
Shaheer, who is in Mumbai currently, met up with Ekta Kapoor and others recently. He is in talks with Ekta's production house Balaji Telefilms for Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.
Shaheer Sheikh, who was last seen in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, is in talks for a number of projects. While speculations are rife that he is almost confirmed for Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, another buzz was that he is in talks with Anirudh Pathak of Prithvi Vallabh fame for his magnum opus which is said to be based on Mughal-e-Azam.
Shaheer, who is in Mumbai currently, met up with Ekta Kapoor and others recently. Ekta's close friend shared a picture of the gang together.
Given that Ekta will be producing Kasautii, we wonder if there has been development on that end?
Meanwhile, when we had asked Shaheer on the same, he said, "I have heard so many good things about that show (Kasautii). That was the show that changed Indian Television forever, effects of which can be seen even now. It has been one of the biggest shows ever made on Indian Television and I know for the fact that Balaji is an amazing production house who are doing amazing work. So, why not? If things work out," Shaheer said while adding after a pause, "It is just that things have to click, it is not my wish, it is what God has planned for me. He puts me in the spot where he wants to, then the dates will just happen and everything will fall into place and I will be in India shooting if it has to happen."
On hearing this we asked Shaheer if he is dropping any hints, however, Shaheer maintained, "No No, I am not giving any hint. Most of the things, I believe, are not in my control and whatever has to happen, you will soon see me on Indian Television, or on the big screen or anywhere else."
