Shaheer Sheikh: I am feeling bad that I didn't get to say goodbye to the unit as the end was abrupt
Shaheer Sheikh talks about how historical shows are difficult to do, and how he can't do shows for just ratings.
Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria's Dastaan-E-Mohabbay: Salim Anarkali went on air just a couple of months ago, and everyone was looking forward to it. However, the show failed to garner ratings and ultimately had to be pulled off-air.
Talking about how historical shows are not easy to do, the actor told in an interview that he has done Mahabharat before but this one was set in the Mughal era and it has different elements. He also said how it is not easy to shoot in the scorching heat or ride the horse with the heavy costumes. He said further how he is feeling bad about the abrupt ending as he couldn't even bid everyone goodbye.

Talking about the show he said further how they try to give the viewers the best and that he does projects he believes in. He also said how he can't do shows that he isn't interested in only because it can get numbers and will be a hit. He said he looks for roles that are interesting as well as challenging. He further stated how their show wasn't all about the TV trends and that this was an experiment for him where he grew as an actor.
When asked about what is in stores for him, the actor said how he wants to go on a holiday and will be leaving for his hometown, Jammu soon.
