Ted Talks India will follow the international format wherein the speaker will present their talk for 18 minutes in front of 100 people. About the show, Shah Rukh had earlier said, “People will share stories about changes in society, in life — whether it’s about the climate, dangerous diseases or to help empower women — and all of this will be integrated. There are some beautiful stories — both Indian and international — which the team is planning to get on one platform and do a nice mix of Hindi and English speakers. I feel it will be a niche show.”
At the launch, SRK had said, "TED Talks India gives me a platform to just be ME," and added, "I'm not just a lover I've been portraying on screen but I'm love itself." The actor had also said, "Whatever ideas you have good, bad, ugly, they all have a place and you should express it and that's why there is TED Talks India."
