Sargun Mehta finds web scene in India slightly overrated; feels sex scenes often forced
Sargun Mehta gets talking about the web scene in India and her opinion about doing nude or kissing scenes for the medium. Here's what the actor has to say.
The web scene in India has been evolving but a lot of it has to do with nudity, and/or similar kind of content that we see. While many think that the web space is doing well, actress Sargun Mehta has her own opinion about it. Ask her about taking up the web, the actress talks about how she is not comfortable doing kissing or nude scenes unless it is required because they tend to look forced otherwise. She also revealed how she is often asked why wouldn't see take up such scenes, to which, the actress said that she feels they are often overdone on the web.
She explained her point further and said how for people in the West, seeing their parents kiss each other on the lips while saying goodbye is a part of their culture but that she can't see such a scene with her father and that's how it has been. However, having said what she feels about web space, the actress did say that she can always make exceptions if there is a need and that it depends on the script. She further explained how she can't be someone else just for the sake of the narrative.

When she was asked if the web has gotten an upper hand and taking over, she revealed how she finds the web scene in India slightly overrated but she also added how she enjoys watching authentic Indian shows and also went on to praise the likes of Mirzapur and Ghoul.
