Sapna Chaudhary denies joining Congress; Party's Secretary from UP shows proof of her membership form

Actors joining political parties is quite common in India. Several actors like Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Manoj Tiwari and several others have joined different political parties years ago. A few weeks ago, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde also joined a political party.

From the past 2 days, there were reports that former Bigg Boss contestant and dancer Sapna Chaudhary will also be joining the Congress party. The news started making headlines when a picture of Sapna with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra went viral on the internet. There were reports that Sapna will be contesting elections against Hema Malini in Mathura. However, while talking to ANI, Sapna Chaudhary denied joining any political party.

She told ANI that she hasn't joined the Congress party. She also cleared the news about the photo with Priyanka and revealed that it's an old picture.

However, Congress Secretary from Uttar Pradesh, Narendra Rathi said that Sapna Chaudhary herself came along with her sister and filled the membership form. Rathi shared that even his sister joined the party yesterday.
