Sakshi Tanwar on not doing reality shows in 25 years of her career: Instant popularity is not my cup of tea
In an interview with a leading daily, Sakshi Tanwar revealed why she never participated in reality shows in 25 years of her career.
Sakshi Tanwar became popular among the Indian audience as Parvati because of the show Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. The show was very famous during the early 2000s and was one of the top Indian dramas. After Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Sakshi acted in several shows and again with Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, she became Priya to the audience.
In 2016, she was seen as Aamir Khan's wife in the blockbuster Dangal. Sakshi nailed the performance and proved her acting mettle even in the film. For a long time, the actress has been missing from the TV screens. Well, Sakshi will be seen in an exciting web series where she will play the role of a mentally disturbed pilot.
It has been 25 years since Sakshi started her acting journey. She has been a part of a lot of interesting TV shows. However, Tanwar never participated in reality shows unlike most of the TV actors.

In an interview with Indian Express, Sakshi Tanwar was asked why she kept herself away from the reality shows.
The actress answered, "The instant popularity is not my cup of tea. I would rather earn lesser, but I want to sustain for long. And I feel I earn good enough to manage well (smiles)."
When asked how she finds the drive to carry on and how did she do it for 25 years, Sakshi answered that she never had any ambition. The actress said that every time her show ended, she used to feel it's the end for her. However, she still gets good offers.
