Rohit Shetty to return to the small screen with Khatron Ke Khiladi
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set for his comeback in the small screen with the show Khatron Ke Khiladi, where he plays the host. The show will be shot in Argentina, starting this July.
After a successful eighth season, the action-adventure show Indian Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi is all set to come back with its new season. Rohit Shetty will return as the host of the show.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the show has found its first two contestants. They are former cricketer S Sreesanth and actress Shamita Shetty. A source informed Mirror, “Former cricketer S Sreesanth, who was last seen on TV in 2014 as a contestant on the seventh season of celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, is set to make a comeback with this one. The second participant is actress Shamita Shetty who has done shows like Jhalak… and Bigg Boss in the past.”
There are reports that one more contestant is all set to join the show. It is none other than Mandana Karimi. The source said, "Mandana has given her nod to the show, however, she is yet to sign on the dotted line. She will start prepping soon.”
Rohit Shetty had successfully hosted the fifth and sixth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi in the years 2014-15. He returned as the host again in 2017. The channel was keen on getting him back for another successful season.
Khatron Ke Khiladi will be shot in Argentina this year, and the shooting for the same will begin in July.
Rohit Shetty is currently busy with his upcoming directorial venture Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and newcomer Sara Ali Khan. Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a cop in the film. Simmba is based on the south film Temper. It is produced under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
