Rajkummar Rao said, "I am really happy and thankful to the audience for their response to Bose: Dead/Alive. The challenging part was playing BOSE because when the role was offered to me, I couldn’t imagine playing Netaji since it’s not a conventional casting but later I thought why not? If somebody can imagine me as Bose then I could definitely play it. It was a great experience for me. I had to put in a lot of efforts in terms of my body transformation. We all have given our blood and sweat for this and, so I am glad about the outcome and the reaction to the web series.”
