Rajeev Khandelwal is one of the most talented and handsome actors that we have today. He became a household name as Sujal Garewal in Kahiin Toh Hoga and went on to star in movies such as Aamir and Table No 21

In an interview with a leading daily, Rajeev shared about his personal life and his interests other than acting.

When asked if he enjoys keeping a low profile, Rajeev said, ‘’That’s just me. Even if I want to I wouldn’t be comfortable being seen at events promoting myself or competing with the other stars for attention. I strongly believe there is a line that separates the actor in me and the real me. I keep my real self away and just because I am a celebrity doesn’t mean people should know or want to know everything about me. I don’t think I am contributing to anyone’s life by sharing a photo of my house, or my holidays or what I eat. But then that’s my way of looking at things and that’s not to say that people who do it are wrong. To each his own. I am not comfortable in sharing my personal life and that’s the way I am.’’

When asked if people ask him to change his ways and be more social, Rajeev replied, ‘’Of course, there are so many people who tell me ‘I didn’t do the right thing’, or I should have planned my career better. But that’s the way they look at my career, which is not how I see it. My well-wishers told me don’t do Sacch Ka Saamna or Aamir (2008) but I have always believed that you have to stick to your beliefs. Sometimes your decision will work and sometimes they won’t. At least you won’t blame others when you fail. I think I have made the right choices for myself and I have survived well. I don’t want to take any kind of support from anyone to further my career. I want it to be just me.’’
