Rajeev Khandelwal to host a talk show

Rajeev Khandelwal is all set to don the hat of host yet again for a talk show. The show is titled Juzzbaat will see celebrities from the field of Bollywood, television and more.

Rajeev Khandelwal became a household name with his controversial show Sacch Ka Saamna, where he was the host. Now, the actor is all set to be back on the tube as a host. The show is titled Juzzbaat and will be a talk show.

Talking about it, Rajeev stated to a leading daily, "It’s an original and slice-of-life format. This show will, in turn, be edgy, fun and emotional, depending on the celebrity. All our guests are people who have inspired us in some way or the other. We are planning to run the show in short seasons."

He further spoke about the show saying, "This show requires a great amount of research, as we want to bring to the fore the real and humane side of our guests, something that the audience isn’t exposed to. I am both excited and nervous, as there is no template to follow while hosting this kind of a show. I will have to play it by ear as I sit across the guest."

When asked about the celebs who will mark their presence on the show, Rajeev said, "I can’t reveal too much at this stage."

Earlier talking about being a part of the movies, he said, "When I left television, I was only being offered commercial stuff, because my image was of that a romantic hero. But I didn’t take up those projects as they were not exciting."

The actor continued, "So when Aamir came my way, I immediately decided to do it. Aamir helped me understand that you cannot be limited in your thinking. Films are not just about singing, dancing, and cracking jokes. I do not mean it in a derogatory way, but all I am saying is that it is not the only way to tell a story."
