Singer Sonu Nigam has quite the social media presence. Apart from keeping his large number of followers updated with his professional outings, he also at times shares personal anecdotes. It has only been a month since he made his Instagram debut, but Sonu Nigam is quite active on the photo sharing app. It is a known fact that Sonu Nigam travels across India for his performances and recently he shared an incident that took place before he could leave to Orissa to manage a concert.
Sonu Nigam landed in the ICU of a Mumbai hospital after developing skin allergy which led to a swollen eye. The singer in an Instagram post revealed that the allergic reaction occurred after he ate seafood. Sonu Nigam also shared a picture of his swollen eye and wrote, "Thanks for your concern and love. Now that you know that I am returning back from Jeypore Orissa after managing a concert last night, I now don't mind sharing how I was the day before yesterday." He further said, "Lesson for all of us, Never ever ever ever take a chance with allergies. Sea food in my case. If Nanavati Hospital wasn't near by, my trachea would have swollen up further and lead to asphyxiation. Happy and Healthy life to everyone."
