Comedy king Kapil Sharma married his ladylove Ginni Chatrath on December 12, 2018, in Amritsar. The couple tied the knot in presence of their family members and close friends. Later, a grand wedding reception was hosted in Mumbai, which was attended by Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and other TV celebs. Kapil and Ginni celebrated their first Lohri, the Punjabi harvest festival, on Sunday along with The Kapil Sharma Show team. 

Krushna Abhishek took to social media to share an amazing photo of him with Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, Ginni and others. He wrote, "Happy lohri to all of u. Have a blast from the whole team of ours first lohri of kapil n ginni god bless them guys keep watching our show n keep enjoying." One can see the couple enjoying their first Lohri with their closed ones. While Kapil can be seen in a traditional outfit, Ginni looks pretty in an orange suit. Don't they look adorable and happy? The comedian's wife also shared a birthday wish for her mother-in-law on her birthday, on January 13. Ginni shared an adorable birthday wish along with a cute picture and wrote, “Happy birthday mumy V luv u sooo much...Stay Happy n Healthy always @kapilsharma.”

Meanwhile, did you know that Ginni’s father had once rejected Kapil’s marriage proposal? In an interview, Kapil shared, “When I started earning well, my mother took my marriage proposal to her family, which got rejected." 

He further revealed, "On December 24, 2016, I called and told Ginni that I wanted to marry her. My mother has always been fond of her.”
