Sony TV's Pehredaar Piya Ki has definitely opened up a can of worms with its content and storyline.

The concept of a 10 year old boy falling in love with an adult woman, obviously did not go well down with the audience and no sooner the promo was aired, the masses literally trolled the show. Now, the makers have decided to take a plunge into getting the 'awkward' pair married. Starring Tejasswi Prakash as Diya and Affan Khan as Ratan Maan Singh in the lead, the show on this coming Friday will witness the baap of 'off beat' concept airing the wedding sequence of the little boy and love interest.

Diya will be soon taking up the humongous responsibility of becoming Ratan’s Pehredaar by getting married to him. For the wedding sequence, Tejasswi will be seen decked up from head to toe as the designers ensured she looked gorgeous for the same. The Rajasthani Chuda, Shadi Ka Challa, Borla (wore in the head), Kamar Patta, Kundan necklace were chosen with intricacy to complete the look of a perfect bride. Tejasswi said, “Diya and Ratan’s marriage is going to take place on July 21, 2017. I will be seen as the gorgeous Diya wearing a lot of elegant ornaments and stylish designer outfits. Also, the combined weight of all the jewellery and the designer lehenga that I wore for the wedding sequence was about 40 kilos! It was really heavy and I have never till date worn so many beautiful ornaments.”
