Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi are all set to have a winter wedding this year. The couple has been together for six years and exchanged rings four years ago.
Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi have been together for more than six years. The couple after getting engaged four years back is all set to enter the marital bliss later this year.
Recently, during an interaction with a leading daily, Payal spoke about the same stating, "I know he has said that we will have a winter wedding, let’s hope we do. We come from humble backgrounds and have been in a committed relationship for seven years. We are living in and are engaged. Marriage is a beautiful part of our culture, but I have left it to him to figure it out."
Payal was further quizzed if she is not taking any keen interest in wedding preparations. To which she replied, "I control the situation in many other things, this I have left to him."
Earlier when Sangram was about his marriage to Payal, he stated to a daily, "We had originally planned to tie the knot within a year of engagement, but we got busy with our work commitments and kept postponing the plan. Everything happens when it’s meant to and I feel that it’s about time now. I am planning a winter wedding and don’t want to delay starting a family."
He added, "We have been together for six years and understand the need of the hour. Payal and her family members are progressive and they knew that marriage could wait. However, my mother calls me every second day to inquire about my wedding plans. So, I don’t think there is any point delaying it anymore."
