Paridhi Sharma and Ashnoor Kaur's Patiala Babes to go off air
Patiala Babes which stars Ashnoor Kaur and Paridhi Sharma in lead roles will be going off-air soon. Read on.
Sony TV's Patiala Babes is perhaps one of the few shows which garnered a lot of positive response with its progressive content. The show starring Ashnoor Kaur of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame and Paridhi Sharma of Jodha Akbar fame will not be going off-air if sources are to be believed. The team is yet to be informed of the channel's decision. When contacted Paridhi, she said that the show is not going off-air and it is all "fake" news, but reliable sources confirm the show will go off-air soon, preferably in August itself.
A source informs, "The channel is planning to launch a line of new shows and hence old shows are being pulled off. After Ladies Special, Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai, now the channel has decided to pull the plug off with regards to Patiala Babes too. The off-air date for the show is not yet known but as KBC returns next month, it will mostly happen before that to make way for the quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan."
Earlier, when the news of Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai going off-air was out, fans couldn't keep calm with online trends urging the channel to save it. In fact, artists Ashi Singh and Randeep Rai too shared their sadness over the news and said that even they were shocked to know that the show is going off-air given that everything was going smooth.
Patiala Babes chronicled the story of a daughter who empowers her mother by encouraging her constantly.
