Nakuul Mehta(Shivaay Singh Oberoi) and Surbhi Chandna's (Annika) Ishqbaaaz is one of the most talked about and popular shows on Indian Television. The awesome duo has clinched almost all the best jodi awards of last year and bracing to repeat the same this year as well.

As the show is witnessing high voltage drama currently, there were reports of the upcoming track witnessing Shivaay Singh Oberoi and Annika aka Shivika's separation and a leap. When we contacted producer Gul Khan to check on the reports, she confirmed that there is no leap happening.

However, she refrained from commenting on Shivika's separation track. Well, for now, the audiences can heave a sigh of relief as far as the leap is concerned.

There were also reports that the makers are planning to introduce new characters with the current lead characters to be shown dead. However, Gul confirmed, "No leap. No new characters. We are continuing with the current characters."

Meanwhile, Ishqbaaaz recently completed 500 successful episodes. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Surbhi spoke at length on the amount of love she has garnered over the last two years and what Ishqbaaaz meant to her.

She said, "Our finding grounds are our fans, they have helped us reach 500 episodes and I am sure with their love and support, we will hit many more milestones in future."

"Having said that, when you start off, you don’t expect the kind of adulation we are getting, it is just so overwhelming. Having played so many characters, be it Kumari Rosy Rani or Annika or a Hyderabadi Muslim girl, I have learned so much. Ishqbaaaz has become a big brand now, everyone in the team, be it the cameraperson, the director, has worked really hard on it and we are really proud of our property. I feel so complete when I am on sets, I always look forward to it even if I am not keeping well. It is such a beautiful feeling which is impossible to express in words," she added.
