Piyush Sahdev, who was last seen in Sony TV's Beyhadh opposite Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon has been accused of rape. The news has left everyone in shock and we yet don't exactly know if the allegations are true or false. Piyush Sahdev was arrested on Wednesday after an actress filed an FIR at the Versova Police Station and accused him of rape.

Kiran Vasantrao Kale, senior inspector, Versova police station confirmed the news to a leading daily and said, "Yes, he has been charged with rape. An FIR was lodged against him on November 20. After investigations, we arrested him on November 22. He was produced in court on the same day and has been sent to police custody until November 27."

According to an online portal, The Beyhadh actor's first bail plea was rejected and when he filed for the second plea, the court held the same ground. He has been shifted to Authur Road Jail and his family and friends are not allowed to meet him. The victim was perplexed and refused to say anything because she did not want herself or her family to be dragged into the controversy. The authorities at the Versova police station confirmed the news.

When Piyush's estranged wife Akangsha Rawat was asked about his arrest, she told a leading tabloid that she doesn't want to comment anything on this. Akangsha said, "I don't want to comment on whether he has or hasn't done it. I don't want to say anything out of place. I don't want to get entangled in this."

Even when Piyush's sister Meher Vij was asked about the same, she said, "You know I haven't been able to get in touch with my father so I too do not know anything about this news. Actually, Piyush and I haven't been in touch at all ever since he got married. His wife had some issues so I chose to back off. Whatever contact we have had, has been only through our father ever since then."

Looks like everybody wants to stay away from the controversy, but we will have to wait for the police to investigate and bring in light, the truth.
