Niti Taylor: I have always said that I will not marry someone from showbiz

We recently reported that Niti Taylor of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan fame got engaged to Indian Army captain Parikshit Bawa. The engagement came as a surprise to many as the actress had denied wedding rumours recently. And now, her sangeet and Mehendi ceremony pictures are doing the rounds on the internet. And now, in an interview with Bombay Times, Niti revealed that she is happy on marrying a person of her choice and also she revealed how she never planned on marrying a guy from acting industry. 

She said, “We don’t plan to get married this year. Hopefully, it should happen next year. My fiancé’s job takes him to different places, while I am currently based in Mumbai. She also revealed that she knows Parikshit from school days. She stated, “I knew Parikshit from school and back then, we were good friends.

A few months ago, we reconnected on Instagram. When I started to know him better, I realized that he is a gem of a person. I met him in Delhi. My parents met him too, and they also liked him a lot. The best part about having Parikshit in my life is that we share the same qualities.”

For the unversed, the couple recently hosted Mehendi ceremony and for the do, they donned matching green outfits and looked picture perfect. For the engagement ceremony, they again matched their outfits in white. In one of the videos, we saw Parikshit going down on his and proposing Niti as they officially got engaged.
