Nakuul Mehta wins the Best Actor Popular at ITA 2019 for Ishqbaaaz; says,"Can't think of a better farewell"
Nakuul Mehta who impressed audiences with his impeccable acting skills in Ishqbaaaz won Best Actor in the popular category at the recently held Indian Telly Awards 2019.

Nakuul Mehta who impressed audiences with his impeccable acting skills and crackling chemistry with his costar Surbhi Chandna in Ishqbaaaz won Best Actor in the popular category at the recently held Indian Telly Awards 2019. The actor whose character as Shivay Singh Oberoi or SSO has been etched in our minds took to his Instagram account to share the news with his large fan following on the photo-sharing app. He posted a pic of himself with the trophy and the captioned the same as,
"This is not a, this is not a Swan, swan song...Won the Best Actor - Popular at the #IndianTellyAwards2019 for #Ishqbaaaz Can't think of a better farewell for everybody who has invested their life & blood into this baby of ours. Gargantuan gratitude." Nakuul was one of the hosts of the show as well. Apart from him, Karan Tacker, Meiyang Chang and Gunjan Utreja were seen as hosts as well.
The season 2 of the show- Ishqbaaz: Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahaani went off air last week and fans started the trend of #ShivikaKaIshqbaaaz. For the unversed, the season one of the show featured Nakuul Mehta (Shivay)and Surbhi Chandna (Annika) in the lead roles and they were shipped as ShiVika. In season 2, Nakuul was paired opposite Niti Taylor. Reportedly, low TRPs led to the closure of season 2 as well.
