Nakuul Mehta on Swara Bhasker getting trolled: Not sure why must we be so compelled to shoot down a POV

Swara Bhasker's open letter to the makers of Padmaavat for the Jauhar scene is getting mixed reactions; mostly backlash and criticism. Some of them even trolled the actress and slut-slammed her. Television's handsome hunk Nakuul Mehta, who never shies from raising voice against anything that's wrong has come forward in support of the actress.

A part of her letter read, "You may be wondering why the hell I am going on and on thus about vaginas. Because Sir, that’s what I felt like at the end of your magnum opus. I felt like a vagina. I felt reduced to a vagina–only."

Nakuul took to his Twitter to hit back at those trolling Swara for stating forward her point of view about the movie.

Nakuul tweeted, "Only when we are able to look at & evaluate different thoughts/values without neccesarily accepting them will we be able to progress. Not sure why must we be so compelled to shoot down/troll a POV if not matching with our own. Continue trailblazing @ReallySwara".

This is not the first time Nakuul has come in support of anyone from the acting industry. Even when there was a long list of disclaimers advertisement printed about Padmaavat, he spoke against it.

He had then tweeted, " Statutory warning on a cigarette pack, I understand. This I don't. No place for art in my country. #Padmaavat."

On the work front, Nakuul is a part of television's most popular show Ishqbaaaz. His chemistry with Surbhi Chandna in the show is winning hearts.

On the other hand, Swara will be next seen in Veere Di Wedding. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor.
