Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna's stint on Ishqbaaaz is one of the most iconic ones and as much as we would like them to return to screens together looks like that is not happening anytime soon. Yes, you read it right. Amid reports of the duo reuniting for Sanjeevani remake, producer Siddharth Malhotra clarified that these are mere conjectures and nothing of it is true. Nakuul, in the meantime, is wrapping up Ishqbaaz which will end on 15th March after a successful run of over two and a half years.
Siddharth wrote, "Guys this is absolutely untrue and I’m sure this is a lovely pair but would appreciate that we put an end to all this conjecture...". A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla that while the makers are yet to close in on any male lead, preferably a new face, negotiations with Surbhi are on. However, the show is currently at a very nascent stage. Check out the clarification and let's hope to see Surbhi back on-screen soon. Not just that, we had already clarified that the show is said to be a remake of Sanjeevani which will, in fact, be a fresh story.
Meanwhile, Nakuul bid an early farewell to IB with an emotional note which is sure to leave you teary-eyed. The actor thanked everyone who was a part of the journey and said he will forever be Ishqbaaaz. We take him for his words on face value, for this!
