Nach Baliye 9 has commenced already and we already have the first proposal of the season. One of the contestant couples, Vivek Suhag and Babita Phogat are now making headlines after the former reportedly had the sweetest proposal for fiancée Babita, on the sets. The wrestler jodi made everyone laugh and emotional at the same time as Vivek infused wrestling jokes to give it a personal touch.
Proposing to her in their native language Haryanvi, Vivek made Babita blush instantly. What happened was that judge Raveena Tandon asked Vivek, “Agar aap Babita se akele mein mil gaye hote, to aap kaise propose karte?”, to which Vivek replied and proposed with utmost sincerity, saying “Jab tu kushti lade hai na, jab tere chot laage hain, mere dil mein ghana dard howe hai”. This innocent proposal won everyone's heart right away, as the audience, contestants and the judges had an ‘Aww’ moment!
Vivek and Babita hail from Haryana and first met during a wrestling event in New Delhi in 2014. They latter co-incidentally met again at Babita’s academy of wrestling. Apart from them, this season has five ex-couples and five current couples participating and battling for the title. Nach Baliye airs at 8 PM during weekends. The season is being produced by Salman Khan this year and has opened to good viewership.
Nach Baliye made it to top 5 in its first week itself.
