Nach Baliye 9: Raveena Tandon all set to team up with Salman Khan: There's a comfort factor with him
Raveena Tandon is one of the judges of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9, which is being produced by her friend and first Bollywood co-star Salman Khan. Here's what she said about him on the premier episode.
Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has ruled the industry with her spectacular dancing moves. Considering the same, she is a perfect fit as a judge in Nach Baliye 9. The other judge beside her is choreographer and director Ahmed Khan. The dance reality show's premier episode was graced by its producer and superstar Salman Khan.
Raveena said laughingly, "He told everyone that he knows me since the last 120 years". She even said that Salman's humour hasn't changed since their Patthar Ke Phool (1991) days. "There's a comfort factor with him. We spoke non-stop on the set, but when the episode was telecast, I realised that they had edited out a major chunk due to time constraints. We then told each other, 'Why did we talk so much?'", she added.
The two were seen on-screen together in the famous comedy Andaz Apna Apna (1994). Tandon said that her debut film dominated their chat on the set. "We kept remembering [anecdotes from] the film's shoot. We go back 29 years, so one can well imagine our conversation." Having judged several shows, like Sabse Bada Kalakar, Raveena is at home, marking their acts. "I don't believe in being too strict. My job is not to berate the contestants but to encourage them. They are all doing their best. No one intentionally wants to give a bad performance," she said.
