Nach Baliye 9: Ram Kapoor & Gautami Kapoor to participate on Salman Khan’s show? Here’s what the actress says
Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor are one of the most popular television couples whose love story is well-known. Now, as the new season of Salman Khan’s Nach Baliye kicks off, Gautami reveals whether Ram and she will be a part of the season or not. Read on.
The latest season of Nach Baliye 9 kicked off in style last night and 5 of the couples were revealed. While Salman Khan was present during the introduction of the couples, fans were excited to see who the jodis might be. Now, every time a new season of Nach Baliye kicks off, rumours about Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor being a part of the show start doing rounds. This time was no different. However, talking about the same, the Ghar Ek Mandir actress spilled the beans about their stint with Nach Baliye 9.
Gautami spoke about Nach Baliye in an interview with Times of India and mentioned that they have been approached for the show at least 4 times. But, every time, either she was pregnant or Ram Kapoor was busy with his TV shows. Hence, fans never got to see them on the couples dance reality show. When asked if Ram and she will be a part of the season, Gautami clarifies that they might think to come as a guest to dance it out once or twice but isn’t sure about competing on the show.

Gautami said, “Well participating in reality shows, we haven't thought of. Also, we were offered Nach Baliye quite a few times. But every time they called us either Ram was busy or I was pregnant. They called us four times I guess but somehow it did not happen. I have had my pregnancies, both of them almost one after the other and there is not much of a gap in between both my kids. And now I guess the makers are fed up of calling us. Well, on a serious note we haven't thought of it. Maybe dancing for once or twice is ok, but doing it for like a competition, don't know how much will it be possible or comfortable.”
Meanwhile, Gautami also spoke about sharing screen space with husband Ram again and said that if someone wants to cast them, then surely she is open to good shows. Gautami mentioned she would love to work with Ram again even after 20 years of Ghar Ek Mandir. Coming to Nach Baliye 9, last night 5 jodis were revealed including Babita Phogat-Vivek Suhag, Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva, Vindu Dara Singh- Dina Umarova, Shraddha Arya-Alam Singh and Prince Narula- Yuvika Chaudhary. The show is being hosted by Maniesh Paul and Salman Khan is producing it. The show can be seen on Star Plus from 8 PM onwards tonight.
