Nach Baliye 9 Highlights: Shantanu & Sandeep perform sans their partners; Pooja Banerjee gets injured

Nach Baliye 9 has been giving us full - on entertainment ever since its premiere on July 19, 2019. With just six weeks left for the finale, the jodis are working hard to battle it out with each other and to save themselves from elimination. It's Sunday again and it's time to delve into the updates of today's episode of Nach Baliye 9. Let's check out what's in store for us today:

21: 25: Contestant Sandeep Sejwal informs the judges that Pooja Banerjee got injured while performing her act during the technical shoot. This is the reason why Sandeep performs the act without Pooja. Choreographer Prerna steps into Pooja's shoes for the act. However, Sandeep and his choreographers stun everyone with their amazing performance. Judge Raveena applauds Sandeep for giving such a wonderful performance despite knowing that it is going to be their last performance on the show. They end up getting a high five from the judges. 

21: 15: Before leaving, Sanjay Dutt says one of his epic dialogues thereby amazing everyone. 

21: 00: Saurabh Raj Jain and Riddhima Jain come up with a unique act along with the choreographers. Their colourful aerial act amazes everyone including the judges. The two of them end up getting a high five from the judges. 

20: 58: The star cast of the new show perform on a special act in order to promote it on Nach Baliye 9. 

20: 48: Sanjay Dutt shares a special memory with everyone from the time when he was in jail. He says that parents are very important in our lives and we definitely agree with him on this point! 

20: 35: Aly Goni, Natasha and their choreographer leave everyone teary - eyed as they perform a very emotional act involving two old age people and a robot. Everyone including the judges and other contestants get emotional post their act and applaud them. The two of them end up getting a high five from the judges. Even Shantanu and Nityaami also get high five from the judges.

20: 20: The next jodis to challenge each other are Shantanu Maheshwari - Nityaami Shirke and Aly Goni - Natasha Stankovic. However, Shantanu has an important announcement to make - his baliye Nityaami will not be performing as she has been asked to take a week's rest by the doctor. The judges allow them to perform on stage. Shantanu and the choreographers give an amazing performance on the song 'Kar Gayi Chall' from the movie Kapoor & Sons. The two of them are applauded by everyone including the judges. In fact, Raveena Tandon also comes on stage and performs on the song with them.

20: 14: Rohit reveals that it's a special daty for him and Anita as this was the day when they met each other ten years back. Rohit goes on to make a few sweet promises to her and even asks her whether both of them can get married again! Post that actor Karan Patel makes a grand entry on the stage posing as the 'baraati' for Anita and Rohit. He is joined in by the other contestants too as Anita and Rohit enjoy their special moment. Anita's mother also comes to make their day even more special.

20: 10: Maniesh Paul shakes a leg on the epic song 'Tamma Tamma' post which he is joined in by Sanjay Dutt and the other contestants. As Urvashi and Anuj were challenged by Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy, both the jodi's are called upon stage. Anita and Rohit end up winning the challenge with 97%.

20: 00: The first jodi to perform is Urvashi Dholakia, Anuj Sachdeva and their choreographer Sadna. They perform some amazinjg acrobats along with their dance including some aerial flicks which make everyone cheer up for them. Post their performance, judge Ahmed Khan asks about Anuj's injured arm and Urvashi's injured foot and later on applauds them for performing the act even after being injuired. Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon also reveal about a time when Raveena got injured while shooting for a movie.
