Nach Baliye 9 Highlights: Ayushmann Khurrana & Nushrat Bharucha join judges for ‘Ulta Pulta’ week

One of the most loved and watched dance reality shows on Indian television, Nach Baliye is back to kickstart your weekend with yet another cool theme. This week, the contestants are all set to blow minds with their ‘Ulta Pulta’ acts and judges Raveena Tandon and Ahmed Khan are going to have a tough time pointing out any mistakes, because they will be left in awe! Well this episode is going to get extra special when friends from the film industry join the judge panel. Check out all the updates here.

09:30: Manish calls Ayushmann to the stage and asks him to climb on Prince’s back, just like in his film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The actor says he will do so if Manish takes Ahmed on a piggy back ride. Ayushmann then says ’13 ko main teri’ as he and Nushrat exit the stage after a fun filled episode.

09:15 PM: FaiSaan are then called to the stage but Muskaan Kataria asks for permission to perform alone, without her partner Faizal Khan as he is injured and has been hospitalized. Ahmed and Raveena say yes and add that Muskaan is FaiSaan for them for today. Muskaan’s emotional performance is a tribute to the jodi’s journey so far in Nach Baliye. The act not only leaves the judges in tears, but even other jodis reach out to Muskaan and try to comfort her.

09:05 PM: Manish jokes that Ahmed was offered Dream Girl before Ayushmann, but he rejected it for Nach Baliye. He attempts to prove his theory with a hilarious clip comprising of the choreographer’s funny moments. Manish then invites Ayushmann to the stage to dance with Ahmed. Raveena and Nushrat then suggest that the two should wear heels for a ‘heelarious’ performance. The two win hearts with their mind blowing moves. Shantanu and Prince join them, adding more fun to the act. Nushrat is asked to judge the act, but she sweetly replies that the only Dream Girl of Nach is Raveena.

08:45 PM: Ayushmann challenges Manish to a face off with Ahmed, the Ulta Pulta way. They have a dance battle on the hit song Ring Ring from Dream Girl, putting up a tough competition. Next up, Saurabh Raj Jain and his better half Ridhimma Jain groove to the song Badtameez Dil and give a hilarious performance. Raveena gives Ridhimma a standing ovation and then shares how comedy is a tough game, not easily done. Ahmed too compliments Ridhimma. They achieve an average score of 90%.

08:25 PM: Ahmed, Raveena, Ayushmann and Nushrat join Shantanu and Nityami on the stage and shake a leg on Dhating naach. Raveena then praises Shantanu, saying ‘she’ looks too good today. Ayushmann then requests the judges to groove on Tip Tip Barsa Paani. Raveena then suggests that Nushrat and she will be Akshay Kumar today while Ayushmann and Ahmed will be Raveena. The team of Dream Girl then give a Hi5 to Shantanu and Nityami, leaving them ecstatic.

08:20 PM: Host Waluscha De Sousa then invites Dream Girl stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha to the stage. They give a high-energy performance on Dhagala Lagli Kala after which Ayushmann introduces his character Pooja in a female voice, leaving Raveena stunned. Next up, Manish brings Shantanu to the stage, escorting him in a romantic manner. Nityami Shirke and Shantanu Maheshwari, dressed as Ahmed and Raveena, perform on the song ‘mera wala dance’. While Shantanu has donned on a yellow saree, Nityami looks ‘dashing’ in a pink blazer paired with a black shirt.

08:10 PM: While Prince Narula Miss Braganza, Yuvika Chaudhary is dressed up as Mr Malhotra from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. They give an energetic performance on the song Gandi Baat and the judges are blown away. Judge Raveena says now she has to drop dead while Ahmed gives the jodi a Hi5.

08:05 PM: The show begins with all the jodis walking in one by one, showing off their costumes. The theme of the week is Ulta Pulta thanks to which the participants have swapped characters. So, girls have dressed up as boys and vice versa. The judges are extremely excited for the episode and can’t wait to see what the jodis have in store. Host Manish Paul kickstarts the fun by flirting with Prince, who looks pretty in pink with a wig on his head.
