Nach Baliye 9 Highlights: Wild card jodis Vishal & Madhurima, Avinash & Palak stun judges with their acts

One of the most watched and loved dance reality shows, Nach Baliye is back with a brand new episode to add some spice to your weekend. The 9^th season, hosted by Manish Paul and Waluscha De Sousa and judged by the gorgeous Raveena Tandon and the talented Ahmed Khan is one of the most controversial yet with ex couples along with celeb couples competing in the show. 09:25: The next performance is given by wild card jodi Avinash and Palak. The two dance on SRK’s romantic track Gerua, with Eiffel Tower in the background. Their beautiful performance stuns audience and judges and Raveena says it took the other jodis many weeks to reach this level and then adds that she is not being unfair. They are awarded an average of 89.5%.

09:10: Aly and Natasha’s act in based on the surgical strike and the two give a powerful performance as a tribute to the soldiers of the Indian Army, leaving audience feeling goosebumps. Raveena says that she loved the act and felt it was like watching a movie. The couple receive an average score of 97%.

09:05: Ahmed invites the second wild card entry to the stage, who are dressed as eagles. They are revealed to be actors Avinash Sachdev and Palak Puruswani. Raveena asks Avinash what is the one thing in Palak that makes you feel she is the one. The actor shares that Palak is a female version of him and they are extremely similar. Opening up about his competition, Abhinav says all the jodis are tough to beat because they are special in their own way. After welcoming the new jodi, Manish calls Aly Goni and Natasha Stankovic to the stage. Natasha sweetly apologizes for her behaviour in the last episode, when she walked off after forgetting steps.

08:45: The next jodi to perform is Saurabh Raj Jain and Ridhimma Jain, who fuse Mahishasura act with Paso Doble style. Ahmed suggests that they should take risks and not do mythological acts all the time. After the wonderful performance, judges call the choreographers to the stage and ask them to try experimenting next time. The jodi receive an average score of 90%.

08:30: The first wild card jodi, Vishal and Madhurima are invited to the stage. Before their performance, Raveena suggests that they should keep all hatred and anger aside and aim for the best. The Kabir Singh jodi, dressed in Egyptian costumes, perform on the song Hai Rama from Rangeela and stun the audience with beautiful lifts. Even after the act, the two are unable to take their eyes off each other. Raveena says that the two have set a new mark for couple chemistry and Ahmed jokes that he’s sad they are back. But then he adds he’s happy they came back with a bang. While Ahmed joins the jodi on the stage, Raveena gives them a Hi5.

08:20: Shantanu and Nityami perform on the song Bawo re from Luck by Chance. Their puppet act with a fusion leaves the judges impressed and after some hushed discussion and suspense, Raveena and Ahmed give the team a Hi5 and call it truly deserving. Moving on, the judges decide to give a challenging tadka to the show. Four crew members walk in and carry out two Hi5 chairs, leaving only three.

08:10: Nityami Shirke and Shantanu Maheshwari are called to the stage and are asked if they are nervous about wild card entries. When Shantanu replies that he will focus on doing his best and is here to learn, Raveena reveals that the couple is apparently not happy with their scores. Ahmed also says that it is important for judges to be happy with the acts, it does not matter if participants are happy with judges. Raveena adds that the participants are being given an opportunity and should not go out and say things about the show. Ahmed gives the jodi a Hi5 and challenges them to give a performance equivalent to it.

08:10: The episode kickstarts with Ahmed Khan inviting the first wild card jodi to the stage. A masked couple walks in and performs on Kabir Singh’s song. They are revealed to be recently eliminated couple Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli aka ViRima. When asked if they have changed ever since they were eliminated, Vishal replied that attitude will remain the same hopefully. Manish introduces the audience to the couple’s new choreographer Yash, and jokes that Vishal and Madhurima scared Sanam off.
