Nach Baliye 9 Highlights: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor join the judges as they promote Saaho

The weekend is finally here and what better way to kick it off than a new episode of the most watched and loved reality dance show, Nach Baliye. The 9^th season, hosted by Manish Paul and Waluscha De Sousa and judged by the beautiful Raveena Tandon and talented Ahmed Khan, is having a great run so far with TRPs shooting through the roof. 09:30: Manish asks why Shraddha never took a part in the show to which the actress replies she doesn’t have a baliye. Hearing this, Anuj Sachdeva, Aly Goni and Vishal Aditya Singh rush to the stage for Shraddha’s swayamvar. After a push-up competition between the three hunks, the participants hilariously serenade the actress. Shraddha then sings a few lines from the hit track Enni Soni from her upcoming film Saaho, leaving the guys madly in love. Manish then invites Madhurima’s mom to the stage, who is here to sort out things between her daughter and her ex-boyfriend, Vishal. She asks him why he has changed and demands an answer. The episode then comes to an emotional end.

09:15: The couple got a standing ovation from the judges. Prabhas compliments their performance and says he is lucky to be in the show. Shraddha shares that she was scared throughout the act and praises the harness team for their effort. Prabhas then went on to give the couple a Hi5, leaving the judges happily surprised. Ahmed suggests that Saurabh should dance with Shraddha and right then, Ridhimma invites Prabhas to the stage for a dance. Ahmed once again shares Prabhas’ dream of dancing with Raveena and Prabhas says I’m a very big fan and I want to dance with you.

09:05: Singer Tulsi Kumar enters the stage and says that she wants to perform her new song with her 2 favourite jodis, a symbol of forever love- Saurabh Raj Jain and Ridhimma Jain, Faizal Khan and Muskaan Kataria. She sings the romantic anthem Enna Sona from Saaho while the couples groove to it beautifully. The next jodi, Saurabh and Ridhimma then entertain the audience and judges with a colourful performance on the song Sun Saathiya. Their act revolves around the fantasy of a girl wanting to touch a rainbow.

08:50: Ahmed praises Shraddha for her constant smile while Raveena says that her baliye Alam stole the show. Shraddha Kapoor applauds the Punjabi tadka in Cinderella story. Manish then invites Ahmed to the stage to perform. The two sport tiaras on their heads, looking like true princesses and living the Cinderella fantasy. Shraddha Arya and Alam Makkar get an average score of 87.5%.

08:45: Ahmed talks about the theme of the episode, fantasy. He then says that Prabhas has told him its his dream to dance with his ‘ex-girlfriend’ Raveena. When the gorgeous actress says her husband is going to kill him, Prabhas jokingly replies that he will manage. The hosts then invite Shraddha Arya and Alam Makkar to the stage. Their act revolves around Punjabi Cinderella and is full of energy with lots of Bhangra mixed with a little hip hop.

08:30: Faizal and Muskaan give a beautiful performance on the song Hawayein from SRK's film Jab Harry met Sejal with a unique LED act in which they are dancing while lying on the floor. Judge Ahmed gets emotional and can’t stop complimenting them while Raveena calls their performance the best of the season so far. Prabhas thanks makers for calling him on the show and having him watch such an amazing concept. Shraddha, without waiting for the judges, ran over to give them a Hi5, leaving the jodi ecstatic. Just then, a puppet named Psycho Tripathi reveals that she is Prabhas’ ex lover, to which the superstar replies that Raveena is his ex-girlfriend.

08:20: Prabhas says he’s excited to be here and is even more excited because Raveena ji is standing next to him. Judge Ahmed then teaches him some famous Bollywood dance moves on the songs Jumma Jumma, Ek Pal Ka Jeena and Jumme Ki Raat. During the third one, Prabhas steps into Salman Khan’s shoes and takes the pallu of Raveena’s yellow saree in his mouth, while trying out the iconic step. Manish then calls the next jodi on stage, Faizal Khan and the love of his life, Muskaan Kataria.

08:15: Aly Goni and his ex-girlfriend Natasha Stankovic's energetic performance answered one of the biggest mysteries in the film industry- why did Kattappa kill Baahubali. Their act showed that Kattappa and Devsena were having an affair and to keep her with him, Kattappa hilariously killed her husband Baahubali, played by choreographer Sanam Johar. Ahmed called the act outstanding and was blown away. He also said that Aly is now a dancer. Without wasting any time, Raveena awarded them a Hi5. Manish and Waluscha then reveal that India's most eligible bachelor will join them on stage to promote his upcoming film Saaho, and invite Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor to the stage.

08:05: Anita Hassanandani and Natasha Stankovic kickstarted the episode with a sizzling face off on the song Lovely from Deepika Padukone and SRK's film Happy New Year. They were twinning in shimmery outfits and sure raised the temperature, ending their performance with bright smiles. Judge Raveena called them stupendously fantastic.
