Naamkarann fame Sayantani Ghosh reveals how Mahesh Bhatt got her on board
Sayantani Ghosh talks about playing a stepmother on screen.
Star Plus' show Naamkarann is produced by Bollywood's ace director Mahesh Bhatt. The show has been fairing quite well, and the actors too in the show are doing a decent job. Sayantani Ghosh (Neela) who plays the role of a stepmother to Avni in the show recently revealed how Mahesh Bhatt convinced her to do the show.
Sayantani Ghosh told an online portal, "I remember that initially, I was very doubtful to take up this character. Later, Bhatt saheb inspired me. He actually told me that if he can't do justice to Neela, he will fail in his life. These were his words, he actually realized the importance of a step-mother in his own life."
Talking about her journey in the show, Sayantani said "My journey in Naamkarann can be considered as a roller-coaster ride. It is an amazing feeling that I'm associated with the show from the beginning. It is a special feeling to be part of this show, as the show is doing good."
Well, the show has been winning the audience's hearts and we absolutely love Sayantani Ghosh's screen presence.
