Naagin 4: Rakhi Vijan aka Sweety of Hum Paanch is teaming up with Ekta Kapoor after 13 years

Naagin 4: Rakhi Vijan aka Sweety of Hum Paanch is teaming up with Ekta Kapoor after 13 years

Naagin 4 has been in the news since the announcement of it. There were a lot of speculations over who will play the role of protagonists. However, Ekta Kapoor recently put the reports to the rest by revealing that Nia Sharma is one of the female leads. Speculations were rife that her Ishq Mein Marjawan co-star Aalisha Panwar will be another lead. The latest reports suggest that Ankita Lokhande is also one of the lead actors.

And now, as per IWM BUZZ, two actresses Gitanjali Tikekar and Rakhi Vijan have been apparently roped in for the series. Rakhi Vijan is best known for her role as Sweety in 90s show called Hum Paanch. Ekta Kapoor and Rakhi Vijan are now teaming up again after 13 long years. On the other hand, Gitanjali has been part of the Balaji shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Karam Apna Apna and Tere Liye among others. As per the same report, they have been given prominent roles in the series.

Speaking of the franchise, season 1 featured Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Adaa Khan and Sudha Chandran and it had started off in the year 2015 and after the successful season 1 it was followed by two more seasons which featured actors such as Karanvir Bohra, Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Anita Hassanandani and Karishma Tanna among others. And now, season 4 will go on floors soon and is one of the most awaited series right now.
