Mrunal Thakur is in complete awe of American actress and co-star Demi Moore
Mrunal Thakur is all set for her upcoming film 'Love Soniya'.
Mrunal Thakur who got immense popularity and a huge fan following after her role in Kumkum Bhagya won our hearts with her bubbly personality and her girl next door attitude in the reality show Nach Baliye season 7 with Sharad Tripathi. According to reports, the duo split recently and fans were shocked as the two seemed to be madly in love during Nach Baliye 7. Mrunal is all excited about her upcoming Indo-American film 'Love Soniya', and what's more exciting for her is that she is sharing screen space with her idol, actress Demi Moore. Mrunal in the film plays a young gullible village girl who unfortunately becomes a victim of the sex trade.
Speaking of co-star Demi Moore, in an interview with a leading daily, Mrunal revealed, "It was a dream come true for me. I have grown up watching films like 'Striptease' and 'Ghost', and here I was in the same frame as the gorgeous Demi Moore. Even today, she can give young actresses a run for their money."
She even shared her experience of when she was complimented by Demi Moore herself while enacting emotional scenes. Mrunal said, "She continuously kept asking me how I was able to cry so easily in the heavy-duty emotional scenes. I explained to her how back home, on TV shows, we are continuously enacting such scenes and that's how crying comes naturally to us. She actually kept wiping my tears with her shawl after every scene."
Mrunal further spoke about her role and casting for the film, "I did not do my eyebrows for many months. In fact, during my auditions, the makers were skeptical of casting me in the project because they felt I was too beautiful for the role. Also, they had reservations because of my television background. So, it was much more challenging to be transported into a completely different environment."
We can't wait to see this television beauty taking over big the screen as well.
