Recently, Ranbir and Alia headed to Tel Aviv, Israel to prep for the film along with Ayan. The movie is a trilogy, a fantasy adventure and a labour of love and it will be produced by Karan Johar. Karan revealed that the shooting of the film will commence in February 2018.
Earlier, a source told a leading tabloid, "Mouni recently came on board and will start shooting early next year when the film goes on the floors. For now, Ayan is keeping other details of her role under wraps."
About working with Ranbir, Alia had earlier said in an interview to a leading daily, "I’m super-excited. I’ve always been open about the fact that I admire Ranbir as an actor, and I’m dying to work with him because I’m going to learn more about acting as a craft (from him). I am just a big fan of Ranbir. I’m also most excited about working with Ayan (Mukerji; director) because I loved both his films (Wake Up Sid, 2009, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, 2013). He’s a very dear person."
